ABOUT

Born in Kamjanez-Podilskyj, Ukraine, Kateryna Hut discovered her passion for the contrabass at an early age. Her journey from Ukraine to Switzerland has been defined by resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to musical excellence.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor in Classical Music at the renowned Hochschule der Künste Bern under Prof. Ruslan Lutsyk, Kateryna has established herself as a versatile musician — equally at home in classical orchestral settings, contemporary avant-garde projects, and jazz ensembles.

Her artistry bridges cultures and genres, carrying the deep, resonant voice of the contrabass from the concert halls of Ukraine to the stages of Switzerland and France.
